Join us Saturday, January 8th, 2005 from 9am - 3pm as we take a journey through our Universe.

Through a series of integrated hands-on activities and inquiries, this educator workshop explores our current model for the origin and evolution of the universe. We will also investigate the nature of science, the role of models, evidence, and explanations.

Participants will receive a package of free classroom-ready materials supporting each activity, along with background material and additional resources.

The topics covered directly address the National Science Content Standards for grades 6-12 by highlighting how we understand the origin and evolution of the universe.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
