Sarah Silva is the Program Manager for the Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) group at Sonoma State University (SSU). Aside from everyday budgetary and project management tasks, Sarah conducts workshops and develops educational materials for the GLAST, Swift and XMM-Newton satellite missions. She conducts workshops and develops high-enery astronomy materials for science educators in grades 7-12. Sarah is the SSU E/PO group's in-house national science and mathematics standards specialist and ensures that the products developed by the group are aligned with these standards. Sarah has been with the SSU E/PO group since 1999 and continues to enjoy every bit of it. Through her work with the SSU E/PO group Sarah has the opportunity to further excite students, teachers and the public about the fields of science, mathematics and technology.
