Hello Everyone. Where to begin? My name is Juanita Tenorio Ruiz. I just finished my second semester here at Sonoma State University in 2010. I was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California (Ten minutes away from Sonoma State). I was introduced to this great job opportunity thanks to the high school I attended (Roseland University Prep). Kamal leads an astronomy club there and he is really involved in our high school. I am a recent Sociology Major and in the future hope to find a path working with juveniles. That has been one of my passions throughout my life. I enjoy working at NASA E/PO and am able to learn from everyone here. I also do community service at a high school where I am able to mentor students in a “Life Skills” class. The students referred to this class are those that are known as the troublemakers. I have seen these students grow up and mature throughout the time I spent with them. It was a priceless experience. Well, that is a little something about me. Thanks.
